More photos, and not just of food.

I decided to try out the bus system today, and headed back downtown by myself. The bus stop is quite a way from the house but once I was on it was pretty quick. The bus was packed with college students who all, by the way, have ridiculously nice phones. That's cos they're like 5000000x cheaper here. We bought some cellphones to use while we're here and they were $5. I hate New Zealand.

Also cheaper like I mentioned in my last post is alcohol, went to the supermarket before and you can buy almost 2litres for like NZ$22. I almost wanted it just for the enormous bottle with the built in handle.
Anyway, downtown was nice, there was a homeless guy with a sign that "Old, Ugly and Homeless" and so he got a dollar.

Even movie theatres and stuff go along with the colonial Spanish feel, it's so cool
I got really excited about a fountain with a sign that said something like beware of the turtles until I realised the turtles were creepy and like..stuffed? and they didn't move and just kind of balanced on the rocks so I backed away slowly and pretended I didn't think they were real and look at them for a full minute.

We got pizza for lunch and I watched the guy in line in front of me write his number on the receipt and give it to the girl behind the counter who then screwed it up and threw it away when he left. I lol'ed.
Anyway, today was kind of a non-event, going to a big outlet mall so I will blog about the clothes I buy and that will be equally uninteresting to read.
